We started at Santa Monica, next to the Pacific Ocean.
Then we stopped at the Route 66 museum. Route 66 is a road which goes all the way from Santa Monica to Chicago, on the other side of the country, 2300 miles away. If we drove all the way there, we'd be a third of the way home.
We met a group of people who were all driving Corvette sports cars along the route.
We did a lot of driving today...
We listened to the local radio... Honky-tonk country music is really popular here!
Then we stopped just before leaving the main road.
We saw some really long trains...
